Rapidr Alternative: Portal and Roadmap Without the Enterprise Jump
Rapidr’s pricing page on 2026-10-01 shows Startup $49/mo and Business $199/mo, Enterprise custom. Portal, roadmap, and changelog are on Startup. SAML SSO starts on Business. Feedjolt is a HITL voting board.
Looking for a rapidr alternative when the job is a customer portal plus a public roadmap, not a second copy of Rapidr and not a UserVoice review? Rapidr (rapidr.io, Rapidr, Inc.) is a hosted customer portal: people vote on a feedback board, a public roadmap shows what is coming, and a changelog announces releases. Feedjolt is a hosted human-in-the-loop (HITL) voting board with public feedback, voting, a public roadmap, a changelog, and MCP so an agent can propose and a human decides. Same portal-plus-roadmap job, without the jump from the Startup card to the Business card. This page is that dated plan gate. Homepage only: https://www.feedjolt.com/?utm_source=blog&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=seo-rapidr-alternative.
Sources are Rapidr’s homepage, pricing, features, integrations, and its own UserVoice and Canny compare pages, opened 2026-10-01 (Madrid). Pricing HTML is from rapidr.io/pricing. Re-open them the week you buy. If a price is not on the page that day, it is unknown. Roadmap and close-the-loop companions: public roadmap tools for SaaS and a changelog that closes the loop.
What Rapidr optimizes for
A rapidr feedback board is a hosted portal. People post, vote, and comment. A public roadmap shows what is coming. A changelog announces releases. Homepage lines that day: “Gather prioritized feedback from your customers and teammates,” “Share progress with a public roadmap backed by customer feedback,” and changelog notices “via in-app widget, email & more.” Widgets work “in mobile or web app.” That is an embed. The features page has no SDK line. Do not call it a native mobile SDK suite.
Footer on the pages opened that day: “© Rapidr, Inc. 2026. All rights reserved.” Support email is [email protected]. Founded year: not shown. Fair strengths from those pages:
- Public or private boards, votes, and comments
- A public roadmap and a changelog
- Embeddable widgets, custom statuses, and a custom domain with SSL
- Merge similar feedback, and notify people as status moves
Names on the homepage, pricing page, and both compare pages: Helge Valvik (Amedia), Andrew Fiebert (Lasso), AJ Keller (Neurosity), and Daniel Wolken (DailyRemote). Those are Rapidr’s page quotes, not reviews this article opened elsewhere.
The features page says user-facing localisation in Spanish, German, and French. A security tile names “Single Sign-On options (JWT, SAML).” Plan gates still come from the pricing table. COMING SOON on that page, and not called shipped here: MRR filter, priority filter, roadmap prioritization tools, an embeddable roadmap widget, changelog reactions, a changelog email digest, and GDPR compliance.
This is not a product already on the Feedjolt board
Rapidr, Inc. is its own product. It is not UserVoice, not Canny, not ProductLift, not Noora, not FeatureOS, not FeedBear, and not Feature Upvote. The footer says “© Rapidr, Inc. 2026.” The homepage, the pricing page, the UserVoice-alternative page, and the Canny-alternative page do not mention ProductLift, Noora, FeatureOS, Hellonext, FeedBear, or Feature Upvote. They link Rapidr’s own UserVoice and Canny compare pages. That is how a distinct product positions against those tools, not how a rebrand works.
Do not reuse those posts as this one: ProductLift, Noora, Feature Upvote, FeatureOS, and FeedBear. For the job rather than the vendor, see how to choose a feedback board and board, roadmap, and changelog.
What the pricing page showed on 2026-10-01
Opened rapidr.io/pricing on 2026-10-01. This is the page. The cards, and only these cards:
- Startup: $49 / mo
- Business: $199 / mo, marked “MOST POPULAR”
- Enterprise: Custom
The comparison header repeats Startup Plan $49, Business Plan $199, Enterprise Custom. There is no billing-period toggle. The cards show “/ mo” and do not state a commitment length. That length is unknown. Above the cards: “No credit card required” and “Setup takes < 15 mins.” No permanently free plan is on this page. An end-user cap is not shown.
Startup vs Business vs Enterprise is a seat and suite gate, not a portal gate
The $49 to $199 jump is not the price of a portal. Portal, roadmap, changelog, widgets, custom statuses, private boards, and a custom domain are already on Startup. Business is where seats, SAML-style single sign-on, user segmentation, and the Jira, HubSpot, and Zapier rows turn on. Enterprise is where the Powered-by mark comes off and the uptime line appears.
Startup card, in their words: 5 team members, basic integrations, roadmap and changelog, widgets and portal, custom statuses, private boards, custom domain. Business card: everything in Startup, plus 50 team members, user segmentation, advanced integrations, “SAML & JWT Single Sign-On,” priority support, concierge migration. Enterprise card: everything in Business, plus unlimited team members, fully white-labeled, 99.9% uptime SLA, enterprise-level support, custom contract, payment via invoice / PO.
Checks below are only where a check icon was in the HTML on 2026-10-01. On all three plans: subdomain, brand customization, email notifications, status updates, vote on behalf, admin badges, roadmap, changelog, embeddable widgets, Google OAuth, confidential comments, custom statuses, custom domain, access controls, private boards, merge similar feedback, identify similar feedback, translations, Slack, and Intercom.
On Business and Enterprise only, with no check on Startup: Jira, HubSpot, Zapier, SAML SSO (SAML 2.0), Okta SSO, OneLogin SSO, Azure Active Directory SSO, Single Sign-On, and user segmentation. On Enterprise only: Remove “Powered by Rapidr,” and the uptime row “99.9% uptime SLA.” Product support is text, not a check: Email Support on Startup, Priority Support on Business, Account Manager on Enterprise. Concierge migration is also text: Basic, Standard, Priority.
Labels that include “COMING SOON” are not shipped here, even where a later tier has a check: Zendesk (Business and Enterprise), Salesforce (Enterprise only), Admin Digest, MRR Filter, and Priority Filter (Business and Enterprise). The integrations page marks Zendesk, Salesforce, GitHub, and Segment as coming soon, and lists Slack, Intercom, Zapier, Jira, HubSpot, Azure Active Directory, Okta, and OneLogin as live. GitHub and Segment are not pricing-matrix rows. Zapier’s live label is still the Business and Enterprise check.
Trial, refund, user vs team member, nonprofits
Trial lines: “Free 14 day trial. No credit card required.” “Try Rapidr for 14 days, no obligations, no credit card required.” “Pick a plan later.” The FAQ says they do not ask for payment details up front. Refund FAQ: within the first 30 days of the signup date they cancel and refund; the card shows it in 3–5 days.
Nonprofit FAQ: “We offer a 30% discount to all registered nonprofit organizations,” with documentation such as a 501(c)(3) or the country’s equivalent. That is the FAQ, not a second card price. Plan changes: switch anytime, prorate the current cycle, email [email protected]. Cards named: American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners. Invoicing, their words, covers enterprise plans and “large organizations on annual plans.” That sentence does not label the Startup or Business card. Commitment length there stays unknown.
User versus team member, their words: a user is “your customer who has voted, commented, or left feedback on your customer portal.” A team member is “your teammate who have been invited to your organization's Rapidr account.” Caps are 5, then 50, then unlimited. An end-user cap is not shown. Migration FAQ: on Business, free migrations of feedback, votes, comments, and tags in 4–6 business days. The matrix still says concierge “Basic” on Startup. Quote both. Do not collapse that into “no migration on Startup.” “Import my Canny Data” and “Import my UserVoice Data” are contact-us lines. This article did not run either import.
Homepage and compare tiles vs the plan table
Homepage tiles list feedback boards, widgets, custom statuses, single sign-on, unlimited teammates, and a custom domain with SSL, and they do it without a plan name. The UserVoice and Canny compare pages repeat “Invite unlimited teammates” and a Single Sign-On tile. The pricing cards cap teammates at 5 on Startup and 50 on Business. Unlimited team members are the Enterprise card. SAML, Okta, OneLogin, Azure Active Directory, and the Single Sign-On row have no check on Startup.
If a tile is not the pricing row, use the table. Custom statuses and a custom domain are on Startup. SAML-style SSO is not. Google OAuth is on all three. Widgets “in mobile or web app” are an embed, not a native SDK. White label is Enterprise. “Higher-priced plans” on a compare page is the Custom card, not the $199 Business card.
Rapidr vs Canny, their compare page only
For rapidr vs canny, use Rapidr’s Canny page for positioning, not for Canny’s price. Canny’s current price is unknown. We didn’t check canny.io, and their page quotes no Canny dollar figure. Feedjolt companions that do not borrow that arithmetic: Feedjolt vs Canny and Canny alternatives for flat pricing.
Keep, as their claim: “Rapidr vs Canny.io: Affordable alternative.” Plans “ranging from $49/mo … to $199/mo for large enterprises.” White labelling “on higher-priced plans” removes the “powered by Rapidr” link. They also describe a public roadmap, votes and comments, a portal, custom status, a custom domain, a 14-day trial, and no credit card. “Import my Canny Data” is contact-us, not an import this article tested.
What disagrees with the pricing page the same day: “$199/mo for large enterprises” is the Business card, not Enterprise Custom. “Unlimited teammates” is not Startup (5, then 50, then unlimited). The SSO tile is not a Startup check.
FAQ questions on that compare page (“Does Rapidr have free plans?”, “Is Rapidr less expensive than Canny?”) are headings only. The answers were not in the fetched text. A permanently free plan is not on the pricing page, and Canny’s price stays unknown.
UserVoice page is their claim, not UserVoice’s price
Use Rapidr’s UserVoice page only as Rapidr’s words. We didn’t check uservoice.com. They call UserVoice expensive and complex, and they say custom domain is an add-on there. This article does not repeat their UserVoice starting figure as a current price. They say Rapidr plans start from $49/mo, with a 14-day trial, and “Calculate the final price right then and there with our price calculator.” A calculator is not on the pricing page fetched this day. Not shown. “Import my UserVoice Data” is contact-us, not a tested import. The contrast that does not depend on that figure: Rapidr as a portal, a roadmap, and release announcements.
What a current roundup covers, and what it misses
We checked productlift.dev/compare/rapidr-alternatives/ on 2026-10-01 (marked “Updated on Aug 21, 2026”). It leads with a podium. We didn’t re-check the other vendor prices on that page. saastruecost.com and toolradar.com were listed in search; we didn’t check them.
What it misses is the plan gate. It does not walk Startup versus Business, the COMING SOON rows, or “unlimited teammates” next to 5 seats. Against Rapidr’s own pages the same day, translations are checked on all three plans. A public API is not a pricing-matrix row. The footer links Developer Docs at rapidr.io/docs. We didn’t check that URL. API: not shown.
If you want a flat-price frame that is not this Rapidr table, the Feedjolt companion is flat-price feedback boards. It is a different question. It does not change the 2026-10-01 Rapidr cards.
Job table
| Question | Rapidr, pricing page 2026-10-01 | Feedjolt |
|---|---|---|
| Cards | Startup $49 / mo, Business $199 / mo, Enterprise Custom. Commitment length: unknown | No dollar in this article |
| Portal on Startup | Roadmap, changelog, widgets, custom statuses, private boards, custom domain, Slack, Intercom | Public feedback, voting, roadmap, changelog. Custom domain not claimed |
| Business gate | SAML-style SSO, segmentation, Jira, HubSpot, Zapier. 50 team members | SSO and segmentation not claimed |
| Enterprise | Remove Powered-by, 99.9% SLA, unlimited team members. Price is Custom, not $199 | White label not claimed |
| Agents | Not described as MCP with a human decision on the pages cited | MCP: agents propose, a human decides |
Other shapes, already linked: Noora, Feature Upvote, FeedBear, FeatureOS. A lightweight board versus a suite is Aha! Ideas and Productboard Lite for indie SaaS. None of those posts is this table.
Where Feedjolt places
Feedjolt is a hosted HITL voting board: public feedback, voting, a public roadmap, a changelog, and MCP so agents can propose and a human decides. It is not a suite. There is no Feedjolt dollar figure in this article.
This page does not claim a Feedjolt custom domain, knowledge base, SSO, native mobile SDK, anonymous voting, custom CSS, user segmentation, or Intercom. Slack and Intercom on Rapidr Startup are Rapidr’s checks, not a Feedjolt promise. Pick Rapidr for that Startup portal at $49 / mo, with Business at $199 / mo when the SSO, segmentation, or Jira/HubSpot/Zapier gate is real, and Enterprise Custom for white label or the SLA. Pick Feedjolt for public feedback, voting, a roadmap, a changelog, and MCP, without those gates. Pick neither alone for a CRM or a support inbox.
FAQ
What is a practical rapidr alternative if the job is a portal plus a roadmap?
A practical rapidr alternative is a hosted voting board with a public roadmap, not a clone of Rapidr and not a UserVoice review. Rapidr’s Startup card, $49 / mo on 2026-10-01, already has the portal, roadmap, changelog, widgets, custom statuses, private boards, and a custom domain, plus a 14-day trial and no credit card. Business at $199 / mo is SAML-style SSO, segmentation, and Jira, HubSpot, and Zapier. Enterprise is Custom. Feedjolt fits when the job is public feedback, voting, a roadmap, a changelog, and MCP where a human decides. Rapidr, Inc. is not another tool already on the Feedjolt board.
Rapidr vs Canny: what does Rapidr claim, and which lines disagree with the pricing page?
On rapidr vs canny, Rapidr’s compare page claims plans ranging from $49/mo to $199/mo for large enterprises, white labelling on higher-priced plans, a portal, a public roadmap, votes, custom status, a custom domain, and a 14-day trial with no credit card. The pricing page the same day shows Startup $49 / mo, Business $199 / mo, and Enterprise Custom. The $199 line is Business, not the Custom card. Unlimited teammates and the SSO tile are not Startup rows. Canny’s current price is unknown. Compare-page FAQ answers were not in the fetched text.
What does a rapidr feedback board include on Startup, and what waits?
A rapidr feedback board on Startup, at $49 / mo, includes 5 team members, basic integrations, roadmap and changelog, widgets and portal, custom statuses, private boards, and a custom domain, plus the all-plan checks for Slack, Intercom, Google OAuth, translations, and the rest of that matrix list above. SAML SSO, segmentation, Jira, HubSpot, and Zapier start on Business at $199 / mo. Removing “Powered by Rapidr” and the 99.9% SLA wait for Enterprise Custom. COMING SOON rows are not shipped.
CTA
Decide the job before the feature list. Rapidr when the $49 Startup portal is enough, Business at $199 / mo when SAML-style SSO, segmentation, or Jira, HubSpot, and Zapier are required, and Enterprise Custom for the Powered-by mark or the 99.9% SLA. Feedjolt for a hosted HITL voting board with public feedback, voting, a roadmap, a changelog, and MCP. No invented Feedjolt price. Homepage only:
