Pricing & plans
Startup is $9/mo for genuine early-stage teams, and it includes every feature Scale has - limits are its ceiling, not features. Apply from billing, we review your application, and once approved you can subscribe. As your team grows past 2 admins you move up to Growth, which trades the premium set for higher capacity.
Ten features: Slack integration, webhooks, REST & MCP API, saved views, SSO, audit logs, advanced permissions, retention controls, custom email domain, and advanced AI. They ship on Startup and Scale. Growth trades them for higher capacity - 25 admin seats and 5,000 AI actions, versus Startup's 2 and 1,000.
Every new workspace starts on a 14-day trial of Growth - no card up front. After the trial, pick the plan that fits your team; nothing gets deleted while you decide.
Cards via Stripe for monthly plans. Bank transfer and invoice are available for annual plans on request.
Within 30 days of your first paid charge, yes - email support and we'll refund without drama. After that it's case by case.
Account & login
Passwords get reused, leaked, and forgotten. We use magic links and Google OAuth instead. Same threat model as your bank's passwordless flows, less friction.
Not from the dashboard yet. Email [email protected] with the old and new addresses and we'll move it for you, usually same day.
Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. Immediate and irreversible. Workspaces you own are deleted with it; transfer ownership first if you want them to live on.
Workspaces & members
Yes. One account, many workspaces. Each workspace has its own billing, members, boards, and integrations - they don't share state.
OWNER controls billing and can delete the workspace. ADMIN manages members, content, and integrations. CONTRIBUTOR submits, votes, and comments publicly - no moderation powers. Full matrix in the docs.
It scales with your plan - Startup includes 2 admin seats, Growth 25, Scale 50. CONTRIBUTOR and end-user seats are uncapped on every plan.
Yes. Settings → Members → promote another member to OWNER, then optionally demote yourself. There must always be at least one OWNER.
Public portal
Yes - one click at Dashboard → Portal → Public portal. While off, every URL under feedjolt.com/p/{slug}/… returns 404. The embedded widget keeps working, so customers can still submit from your own site.
Custom domains aren't supported yet - your portal lives at feedjolt.com/p/{slug}. It's on the roadmap; vote on it there if you want it sooner.
Yes. Switch off the master public-portal toggle and every public page returns 404 - that's the cleanest way to opt out of indexing entirely.
Boards that require a magic-link sign-in before customers can see them. Useful for paying-customer-only feedback channels, beta programs, or anything you don't want the open web to read.
Roadmap
Customers don't care about your internal pipeline - they want to know: on the list, being built, or shipped. The public roadmap collapses your statuses into Planned / In Progress / Done via a bucket field on each status. Internally you can keep as many statuses as you like.
Yes. Dashboard → Portal → Public roadmap is a separate switch from the master portal toggle. Boards, changelog, and the widget stay public while the roadmap tab disappears.
By default, Under Review has no public bucket assigned - that keeps triage noise off the customer view. Map it to a bucket at Dashboard → Portal → Public roadmap if you want it visible.
Posts & feedback
No. Internal notes on posts and comments are visible to OWNER and ADMIN only - never to customers, never via the public API, never in webhooks.
They move to the target post. Duplicates - same person who voted on both - collapse into one vote on the merged result.
Yes. Flag any post as internal and it disappears from the public portal and the API, while staying fully visible to your team in the dashboard.
Yes - the original author can edit title and body. ADMINs can edit any post. Edit history isn't shown to customers, but every change is logged.
AI & MCP
No. Customer feedback is never used to train models - ours or anyone else's. AI features call provider APIs with your data, the response comes back, and nothing is retained for training.
Auto-tags incoming posts with your existing taxonomy, scores sentiment, surfaces duplicate clusters before they bloat your inbox, and summarises long discussion threads. Use it, ignore it, or turn it off - it's optional on every paid plan.
Yes. Wire Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, or any MCP client to your workspace and let an AI agent triage your inbox, merge duplicates, tag posts, and comment on threads - all under a scoped token with full audit trail. Setup in the dashboard at Developers → MCP.
Integrations & API
Yes - channel mappings per event type (new post, vote threshold, status change, comment), with the usual unfurls when posts get linked in Slack. Paid plans only.
Yes, with bidirectional status sync. Promote a Feedjolt post to a Linear issue in one keystroke; when the Linear issue ships, voters get a one-line email and the post moves to your Done bucket automatically. Paid plans only.
Not yet - both are on the roadmap. In the meantime, the public API and webhooks cover most workflows, and the Linear integration is the most polished if you can use it.
REST API with Bearer token auth - full read/write on Startup and Scale (the API and webhooks are part of the premium set, which Growth trades away). Webhooks are signed, retried, and have delivery logs you can replay. Full docs in /docs/developers.
Privacy & security
Database in the EU (Hetzner). Uploaded files in the region you pick at signup - EU or US, in Cloudflare R2. Region is set per user and inherited by workspaces; it can't be changed after creation.
Yes. Email [email protected] and we'll send the current version. EU-hosted, GDPR-compliant, no sub-processors that train models on your data.
Not yet - both are on our security roadmap. We can share a security one-pager covering data handling, access controls, and incident response on request.
