Cookie Policy

Effective Date: May 26, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Feedjolt, a product of Luodaint LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.feedjolt.com. We use cookies in accordance with the EU GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. By using Feedjolt, you acknowledge the use of cookies as described in this policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and protect your account. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a set period).

2. Cookies We Use

Feedjolt sets strictly necessary cookies by default. If you accept the cookie banner, we also set analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 and DataFast. We do not set advertising cookies.

datafast_session_idAnalyticsDataFast - groups a single browsing session (only after consent)30 minutes

Authentication cookies are httpOnly and Secure (not readable by JavaScript, HTTPS only). Analytics cookies are JavaScript-set and only created after your consent.

3. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage to remember your cookie acknowledgment preference (the "Got it" choice on our cookie banner) so we do not show the banner again on future visits. Local storage data is only accessible by our website and is not transmitted to third parties.

4. Categories of Cookies

  • Strictly Necessary - required for the Service to function (authentication, session management). You cannot opt out of these cookies, as Feedjolt cannot operate without them.
  • Analytics - we use Plausible (cookie-less, privacy-friendly) by default, and Google Analytics 4 and DataFast if you accept the cookie banner. None of these services are used for cross-site advertising.
  • Advertising / Marketing - we do not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses Cloudflare Turnstile for CAPTCHA protection on public forms. Turnstile is privacy-preserving and is designed to avoid the use of tracking cookies. If a Turnstile challenge requires it, Cloudflare may briefly set a session cookie scoped to the challenge frame; this cookie is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 also sets first-party cookies under our domain for aggregate measurement; these are not shared with advertising networks. DataFast (datafa.st), our privacy-focused product-analytics provider, likewise sets first-party cookies under our domain after you accept the banner; it does not track you across other sites or share data with advertisers.

6. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in or using core features of the Service.

7. Do Not Track

Our Service does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If you accept the cookie banner, analytics cookies measure your usage of Feedjolt only - we do not share data with ad networks.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If we introduce new categories of cookies, we will update this policy and seek consent where required by law.
