Hellonext vs Canny: FeatureOS and Canny Compared (2026)

Hellonext is now FeatureOS. Compare FeatureOS and Canny on pricing, tracked users vs seats, boards, roadmap, changelog, AI and SSO, from their own pages.

If you searched for Hellonext, the product you are looking for is now called FeatureOS. Hellonext officially rebranded to FeatureOS in August 2023, and hellonext.co now redirects to featureos.com. Existing Hellonext customers did not have to do anything during the switch. So "Hellonext vs Canny" now means FeatureOS vs Canny: an all-in-one feedback suite with flat plans against a feedback platform priced by tracked users. Below, we compare the two using only what each vendor publishes on its own site.

In short: Canny suits teams that want a free start and AI capture from support and sales tools; FeatureOS suits teams that want five modules on one flat bill sized by seats and boards.

The short answer

Hellonext is the old name of FeatureOS; the company rebranded in August 2023 and hellonext.co redirects to featureos.com. On 9 October 2026, Canny's pricing page showed a Free plan for 25 tracked users and a Pro plan that starts at $79/month billed yearly ($99 billed monthly) for 100 tracked users. Pro rises with the tracked-user count (for example, $529/month billed yearly or $661 billed monthly at 1,000), and Business is custom-priced from 5,000+ tracked users. FeatureOS showed three flat plans: Starter at $60/month, Growth at $120/month and Business at $250/month. Each comes with set allowances of boards and team seats (extra seats $15/month each on every plan, extra boards $15/month each on Starter and Growth) and all five modules, plus a 30-day free trial; no free plan is listed. Canny counts anyone associated with feedback as a tracked user, including people an admin votes for and users Autopilot finds; FeatureOS bills by team seats and boards instead.

Hellonext is now FeatureOS: what changed

FeatureOS announced the rename on its blog on 9 August 2023, in a post by founder and CEO Karthik Kamalakannan that opens: "Hellonext has officially rebranded to FeatureOS." For existing users, the post says: "If you are already a customer of Hellonext, you don't have to do anything during this transition."

FeatureOS today sells five modules on every paid plan: Feedback Board, Product Roadmap, Forms, Changelog and Knowledge Base, plus AI features covered further down.

Pricing: tracked users vs boards and seats

Canny: priced by tracked users

Canny's Free plan costs $0 and covers 25 tracked users, 5 managers, unlimited contributors, unlimited feedback and boards, plus Autopilot feedback discovery and deduplication. Pro is priced with a slider: you set how many tracked users you expect, and the price moves with it. Business is "Let's talk" custom pricing for 5,000+ tracked users; drag the slider past 5,000 and it switches to "Business, Contact us".

The key definition, quoted from Canny's pricing FAQ: "A tracked user is someone who has given feedback. This can be via creating a post or voting/commenting on a post. Those actions can be taken by the user themselves, by an admin on their behalf, or by Autopilot." The same page adds: "Users with feedback found by Autopilot count towards your tracked user count." On how many to expect, Canny says: "For a B2B SaaS company, typically around 1-5% of total users become tracked users."

Overages are handled automatically. If you have not set a spend limit, Canny "will automatically upgrade you to the next tier" and charge a prorated amount; if you have set one, it "will stop tracking feedback from new users." The billing toggle reads "Yearly 20% off", and the FAQ says "Save up to 20% by paying for a year upfront."

FeatureOS: flat plans with board and seat allowances

FeatureOS shows three plans. On the default monthly toggle, Starter is $60/month, Growth $120/month and Business $250/month. Switch to annual and the page shows $600/year, $1,200/year and $2,500/year, printed alongside "$50/month", "$100/month" and "$208/month".

Each plan comes with an allowance: Starter has 5 boards and 5 seats, Growth 10 boards and 10 seats, and Business unlimited boards and 15 seats. The plan cards price extra boards on Starter and Growth, and extra seats on all three plans, at "+$15/mo" each (Business already has unlimited boards); the comparison table under the cards shows the add-on only on Growth and Business. "All plans include a 30-day free trial. No credit card required." No permanent free plan appears on the pricing page. FeatureOS also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. The Business button reads "Contact Sales", and a "Need custom pricing?" option is labeled experimental.

What the two models mean for your bill

Canny's bill follows how many of your customers give feedback, and that includes votes your team logs on their behalf and conversations Autopilot finds in tools like Intercom or Zendesk. FeatureOS's bill follows your team seats and board count, not your end users. With both billed for a year upfront, using each vendor's own numbers: Canny Pro is $79/month billed yearly at 100 tracked users and $529/month billed yearly at 1,000, while FeatureOS Starter on the annual toggle is $600/year (shown as "$50/month") for 5 seats and 5 boards, however many customers give feedback.

One thing Canny's pricing page does not state is whether the tracked-user count is a lifetime total or measured per billing period. If that matters to your forecast, ask Canny before you commit.

Boards and voting

Canny gives every plan unlimited boards and feedback, public or private ("Private boards" is ticked on all plans). Customers can post, vote and comment, and your team can vote on their behalf. Canny Identify lets people give feedback without a separate Canny account; the FAQ answers "Do my customers need a Canny account to give feedback?" with "No." Categories and tags come on every plan, and custom statuses start on Pro. Canny's pages do not show guest or anonymous voting, downvotes or vote limits.

FeatureOS caps boards by plan but offers more voting controls. It offers public and private boards, upvotes, optional downvotes, vote limits (on Business, per its comparison table) and the option to reset votes. Guest votes, guest submissions and guest comments sit under "Guest Actions", ticked on all plans. Your team can vote and post on behalf of customers, collect priority ratings, moderate posts (Growth and up) and accept posts by email ("Letterbox", Growth and up). It can import from Canny or CSV.

Roadmap and changelog

Canny's roadmap can be public or private. It supports custom prioritization scores that weigh revenue and demand against effort, a roadmap view per product area, and sync with Jira, Linear, Asana, ClickUp and GitHub; those project-management integrations start on Pro. The changelog is on every plan, and Canny says "The changelog is free to use with no restrictions." It includes a widget, hosted page, scheduling and labels. Email notifications to changelog subscribers need Pro.

FeatureOS's roadmap is a Kanban view by board, with a private roadmap option, Jira sync, an embeddable roadmap, custom columns and statuses, and links from feedback posts to roadmap cards. Its changelog is the Release Notes module, included on every plan, with labels, embeds, scheduling, private changelogs, emoji reactions, a "Nudge users about updates" option and the ability to tag completed posts.

AI features and duplicate handling

Canny's AI layer is Autopilot, included in all plans. It captures feedback from sources such as Intercom, Zendesk, Gong and Zoom, then deduplicates and triages it. The pricing FAQ is direct about merges: "Any detected duplicates are merged together." The Autopilot page adds a safety net: "a full audit log shows everything it captured, merged, and organized. If it gets something wrong, you can undo any action." Smart Replies, which ask posters for more detail, and Comment Summaries are on Pro and up.

FeatureOS's AI suggests assignees, labels and projects, detects and groups duplicates "in real time", runs post sentiment analysis on all plans, and answers natural-language questions from your feedback, changelogs and docs. Its AI page says: "Every AI feature is optional and explainable... Nothing changes unless you say so." One plan detail is worth noting as FeatureOS shows it: the Starter card lists "All AI Features", while the comparison table marks AI duplicate detection and "Analytics (with AI)" from Growth up.

For a hands-on method that works with either tool, see deduplicating feedback without losing context.

MCP and AI assistants

Canny's pricing page lists MCP connectors for OpenAI, Claude, ClickUp and Cursor on Pro and Business, not on Free. Its MCP page says the server works with ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor "plus other MCP-compatible clients". Its feature page says "Canny exposes over 55 tools through MCP", and the server can read and make changes, "scoped to your permissions and logged with undo". Setup uses OAuth, and the server is "available on any paid plan".

FeatureOS does not show an MCP server on any page we opened. It offers a REST API instead ("Read and write access to all your data"), with API access from Growth and webhooks on Business. If you want to see how assistants can work a feedback board, read our guide to MCP feedback triage.

Integrations, SSO and admin

Canny's Free plan includes feedback capture (Intercom, Zendesk, Slack, a Chrome extension), notifications (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord) and API and webhooks. Pro adds Segment, Zapier and project-management tools (Jira, ClickUp, Linear, Asana, GitHub, Azure DevOps). Business adds CRM integrations with HubSpot and Salesforce and the team "Auth & SSO" row (Okta, OIDC, Entra ID, OneLogin), which Canny describes as a way to "Manage your team's access to Canny". Separately, "single sign-on" appears in the base features included on every plan.

FeatureOS allows 3 integrations on Starter, 5 on Growth and unlimited on Business. Its integrations page names Jira, Slack, Linear, Intercom, GitHub, HubSpot, Zendesk, Zapier and more, and claims "50+"; Salesforce is on Business. SSO is included on Growth and Business and is an add-on on Starter; SSO-powered board access starts on Growth.

On branding, Canny offers custom domains from Pro, with branding removal and email whitelabel on Business. FeatureOS includes custom domains and custom email SMTP on all plans, whitelabeling from Growth, and custom CSS on Business.

For compliance, Canny lists CCPA and GDPR on all plans and SOC 2 from Pro. FeatureOS's security page says it "follows the same security standards that comply with SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS" and "We are also GDPR compliant."

Which should you pick?

  • Pick Canny if you want a free plan to start, AI that pulls feedback out of support and sales tools automatically, an MCP server your AI tools can act through, revenue-weighted prioritization, or Business-tier team SSO and CRM, as long as your expected tracked-user count lands at a price you are happy with.
  • Pick FeatureOS if you want boards, roadmap, changelog, knowledge base and forms on one bill, pricing that follows your team size rather than your customer count, guest voting, and custom domains on the entry plan.
  • Watch on Canny: the price rises with tracked users, including people you vote for and users Autopilot finds.
  • Watch on FeatureOS: board and seat caps per plan, $15/month add-ons, and AI duplicate detection, webhooks and vote limits that sit on higher plans.

Where Feedjolt fits

If neither pricing model suits you, Feedjolt is a third option: a feedback board with voting, a public roadmap and a changelog. It is sold at a flat price per workspace with unlimited boards, posts and contributors. Feedjolt's AI flags likely duplicates for a person to review, and agents work the board over MCP with the permissions a person grants. FAQ

Is Hellonext the same as FeatureOS?

Yes. Hellonext rebranded to FeatureOS in August 2023, and hellonext.co now redirects to featureos.com. Existing Hellonext customers moved over without having to do anything.

Hellonext vs Canny: which is cheaper?

It depends on your size. On 9 October 2026, Canny had a free plan for 25 tracked users and Pro from $79/month billed yearly ($99 monthly) for 100 tracked users, rising to $1,079/month billed yearly ($1,349 monthly) at 5,000. FeatureOS plans were $60, $120 and $250 per month with set board and seat allowances, regardless of how many customers give feedback.

How does Canny count tracked users?

Canny counts anyone who has given feedback: someone who created a post, voted or commented, whether they did it themselves, an admin did it on their behalf, or Autopilot found their feedback. Canny estimates that around 1 to 5% of a B2B SaaS company's users become tracked users. Its pricing page does not say whether the count resets each billing period.

Does FeatureOS have a free plan?

No. Its pricing page lists a 30-day free trial on all plans, with no credit card required, but no permanent free plan. Canny lists a Free plan for 25 tracked users.

Do Canny or FeatureOS have an MCP server?

Yes for Canny: its pricing page lists MCP connectors (OpenAI, Claude, ClickUp and Cursor) on Pro and Business, not on Free, and its MCP server can read and update feedback. FeatureOS does not show an MCP server on its site; it offers a REST API from the Growth plan.

Do they merge duplicate feedback automatically?

Canny's Autopilot merges detected duplicates automatically, with an audit log and undo. FeatureOS detects and groups duplicates with AI and says nothing changes unless you say so.

Which has SSO?

Canny lists "single sign-on" among base features on every plan, and team "Auth & SSO" (Okta, OIDC, Entra ID, OneLogin), for managing your team's access, on Business only. FeatureOS includes SSO on Growth and Business and offers it as an add-on on Starter.

The bottom line

Hellonext lives on as FeatureOS, and choosing between it and Canny comes down to whether your bill should follow your customers or your team. For a third option, see Feedjolt on the homepage.
